KHK straight, spiral, and hypoid bevel gears are offered in a variety of modules, numbers of teeth, materials and styles with gear ratios of 1.5 through 5. All of KHK’s stock bevel gears intersect at a right angle. The straight bevel gears are available in materials such as injection molded, plastic and stainless steel. Spiral bevel gears have curved teeth for smoother rotation and are available from commercial quality to ground alloy steel. The hypoid gears are a special type of spiral bevel gears that offer a high-speed reduction ratio, rigidity and compact gear assembly.
