Snowflake Releases AI Copilot

Adding to the artificial intelligence copilot technologies that have just begun to hit the market, Snowflake has released its Snowflake Copilot.

According to Snowflake, its Copilot acts as an intelligent assistant that understands the context of your data, resulting in more accurate and relevant SQL code suggestions.

Key tasks that can be accomplished with Snowflake Copilot include: 

• Text-to-SQL: Ask Copilot your data questions in plain English and it will generate corresponding SQL queries. This empowers users to write SQL queries faster and analyze data more easily.

• Data exploration: Users can ask Copilot to explore their data using open-ended questions to learn more about the structure of the data, refine analyses with follow-up inquiries and gain deeper insights without writing complex queries.
• Intelligent corrections: Cleaner, more efficient SQL queries can be written with Snowflake Copilot as it suggests optimizations, provides explanations and recommends fixes for potential issues in existing queries.
• Documentation: Snowflake Copilot can answer any questions you have about Snowflake documentation, including searches for specific functions, learning more about existing features and capabilities, or honing your SQL skills.
