Ultra-Light Vacuum Gripper for Cobots

Oct. 3, 2019
Coval's CVGC Carbon Vacuum Gripper is the first of the company’s EOAT (End Of Arm Tools) range.

A plug and play product designed for a variety of cobot (collaborative robot) models, the unit seamlessly integrates with cobots to take advantage of their greatest strengths. It is light in weight (less than 1 kg for the smallest model) thanks to a carbon fiber construction, and it is quick to assemble and disassemble, without special tools, to promote the cobot´s versatility. The gripper protects the operator with a flexible peripheral foam. It is compact, with a function block housing the vacuum generator, control cartridge, vacuum switch and silencer, and versatile, with a foam gripping interface suitable for a range of workpieces. Grippers are available in three dimensions: 150 x 150 mm, 240 x 120 mm, and 320 x 160 mm.
