Founded in 1946 in Reinach, Switzerland, Habasit's aim was to revolutionize the power transmission and conveyor industries by introducing the world's first fully synthetic belt. Our success is rooted in our commitment to quality, innovation and technology. In 1968, Habasit opened our USA Headquarters office in Atlanta, Georgia, where we maintain a full inventory of Habasit products. In April 2009, we moved our Atlanta, GA operation into a new 340,000 square-foot building; combining our plastic division and fabric division all under one roof. As the world’s leading manufacturer of conveyor, plastic modular, seamless, power transmission and plastic chain belts, Habasit offers a full range of belting products and belt joining tools in order to provide the optimal solution for every application. Habasit works with a strategic group of Distributors and OEMs, and uses Distribution as our primary way of providing local service and stock required within the industry. Our manufactured products include HabasitLINK® plastic modular belting, HabaDRIVE®, and HabaFLOW® traditional fabric belts, Seamless GRABBER® products, round belts, HabaSYNC® timing belts, HabaCHAIN® plastic slat chain, and belt joining tools.
