As the latest release of the vendor’s standard machine-vision software for inspection, Impact 10.1 software can be used with any of the vendor’s smart camera systems, including the M-Series Embedded Vision System, which allows users to perform up to four unique, independently initiated inspections using a single vision processor.
Impact 10.1 also includes new features including: an enhanced 2D data matrix inspection tool with improved robustness in the presence of noise around the symbol; Active X programming support for M Series processors; for applications where a Visual Basic or other programming language is used for the graphic user interface or data transfer; and enhanced histogram and graphing capabilities for easier inspection tool set-up and troubleshooting.
