Designed to connect T/C wire or temperature sensor instrumentation with a temperature controller or process control HMI automation panel, the connector accepts stranded, solid, TWSH, overbraid, or RSC coil cord wire. Suggested applications are in the food, automotive, plastic, manufacturing and chemical industries. The connector is compatible with any other similarly sized male, two-prong thermocouple plugs or two-pin female thermocouple jacks. The female T/C jack is universal and will accept either the mini or standard size male T/C plug. Hollow pins of thermocouple compensating alloy are used. The T/C connector is also available with a solid two-pin design. The cap/clamp contains the four captive screws and eliminates the loose screws typical with a traditional metal thermocouple cable clamp. Included are a metal back plate clamp, strain relief and grommets.
