Optimax Series OSD pneumatic thruster slides are lower price alternative to "built-to-order" units.
The series is available in 3/4, 1-1/8, and 2 inch bore sizes, and offers standard travel lengths from 1 inch to 10 inches. The slides feature oversized guide shafts to provide maximum rigidity with minimum deflection, while steel travel adjustment collars on the extend direction are standard and enable the user to adjust the slide travel. Internal polymer bearings provide smooth operation, while urethane shock pads on extend and retract directions provide vibrational damping and minimize impact forces. To simplify installation and provide for interchangeability, the slides feature a tool plate for mounting of tooling or other actuators.
