AutomationDirect Servo System

The AutomationDirect SureServo2 family of brushless servo systems contains 26 standard permanent magnet servo motors that can be operated in combination with one of 16 standard servo drives. System features include precise control of position, velocity and torque as well as use with AutomationDirect Click, Do-more BRX or the Productivity series PLCs, LS-Electric XGB PLC or any other host controller or HMI. Onboard motion controller with registration, electronic camming and event-based logic control is available along with option modules for EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP. Free configuration software allows for ease of setup. The servo systems also feature field upgradable firmware and external encoder support.

Beckhoff Variable Frequency Drive

With the AF1000, Beckhoff offers a cost-effective variable frequency drive for basic drive tasks. These compact devices are suitable for implementing drive axes with synchronous, asynchronous and reluctance motors without a feedback system. Two versions are available: one with a single-phase supply of 1 x 110V AC to 240V AC and another with a three-phase supply of 3 x 208V AC to 480V AC. 24V control voltage is generated from the DC link. These drives come in single- and dual-axis variants and feature up to six digital I/Os integrated directly in the device. Optional STO/SS1 safety functions are available.

Festo Belt Axis

The ELGD-TB toothed belt axis with internal double-sided recirculating ball bearing guide and toothed belt drive is protected by a permanently magnetic stainless steel cover strip. The portfolio includes six versions from 30 to 160mm width and starts with the main sizes 60/80. These are available in two profile variants: normal and wide. Various slide options include a long slide and second free-moving slide, split guide loads with a second slide and additional mounting options. Motor positions are selectable at two positions at the end of the axis and the position can be changed at any time.

SEW Eurodrive Linear Servo Motors

SEW Eurodrive offers three linear motor versions: SL2-Basic, SL2 Advance System and SL2 Power System. All motors are available in several widths and lengths, and in speed classes 1, 3 and 6m/s. The SL2-Basic allows you to design your own optimum machine using modular components. The SL2-Advance/Power Systems can be integrated as gearmotors. The motor cooling unit offers key elements for machine construction, covering cooling surfaces, strength, weight, bearing installation, load assembly and thermal expansion. Features include an optimized force-density ratio thanks to the latest winding technology and laminated iron core, and secondaries that are available in three different lengths. No mechanical transmission components or wear parts are required as linear motion and force are generated directly.
