The servo drive, with an efficiency of about 99%, is EtherCAT and CANopen compliant and, in conjunction with the company's Gold Maestro network controller, creates a high-level, real-time, multi-axis network. Major features include "direct to mains" operation from rectified 480 VAC; high speed networking by fully compliant EtherCAT, or CANopen; support for any feedback in any configuration-single, dual, gantry, etc.; wide bandwidth in current, velocity, position operating modes; advanced, extremely fast and efficient vector control algorithm (current loop bandwidth: 4 kHz); and compliance with industrial standards such as IEC61800, UL508c, UL60950, and EN61000. The company's Windows-based software tools make it easy to configure the drive for optimal use with the user's motor.
