Portescap Opens a New Engineering Lab, Expanding Testing Capabilities

Jan. 12, 2022

Portescap has opened a new engineering laboratory in its Mumbai, India office, expanding analysis and reliability testing space as well as boosting its proof of concept (POC) capabilities.

Using the latest simulation software and accelerated life testing equipment, Portescap engineers can apply different duty cycles, direction of load rotation and variable loads to motors and assemblies. An on-site environmental chamber and noise and vibration (NVH) chamber simulate real-world conditions. Portescap can also deliver rapid prototypes thanks to the lab’s advanced 3D printing and machining equipment.

Portescap invested in a new engineering lab to help customers quickly solve their motion challenges and get products to market faster.
