Wireless Bridge for Industrial Communication

Aug. 1, 2011
Anybus wireless bridge connects industrial devices running Profinet, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP over a wireless connection.

Connecting industrial devices and networks over a wireless link makes life easier for system integrators and network designers needing to make connections through hazardous areas, in hard-to-reach locations, or among moving installations where cables are not desirable. Connections over a distance of up to 400 meters (open air range) are possible. Wireless transmission is made via Bluetooth (for greater reliability and noise immunity) or WLAN technology (for higher bandwidth).
