Temperature Signals without RTD Input Card

June 1, 2011
TTM series of temperature transmitters feature an analog output that eliminates the need for specialized resistive temperature detector (RTD) PLC input cards, saving the user the expense associated with these cards.

The TTM series provide a 4-20 mA output using an integrated PT100 resistance temperature detector. TTM series sensors are plug-and-play, and come pre-scaled at 0 to 100 degrees C, 0 to 150 degrees C, -50 to 50 degrees C, or -50 to 150 degrees C. The transmitters’ stainless steel connections are said to make them particularly suitable in the food and beverage arena.
