Ethernet-based Remote Monitoring

Nov. 1, 2008
VisuNet RM is a family of remote monitors for use in hazardous locations.

It integrates the benefits of a modern network infrastructure based on standard Ethernet components in simple, remote solutions where the display, keyboard, and mouse are up to 2km away from the PC in the safe area, or as a full-scale panel PC installed in the hazardous location. VisuNet RM  eliminates copper and fiber optic KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) interface technology, while leveraging open network-based Visualization over Ethernet (VOE) technology founded on Microsoft standards. This facilitates operation of up to 32 remote monitoring stations per server, supporting redundant servers, pathways and hot switchover. The system is also available with optional wireless Ethernet.
