Visit booth S-2642 to learn how Kollmorgen motion technology is setting new standards in reliability, performance and hygienic design to ensure compliance with emerging food safety regulations, protect brands against costly recalls and maximize machine productivity

Kollmorgen will highlight its robust stainless steel AKMH servomotors in booth S-2642 at Pack Expo 2014 in Chicago, IL, November 2 – 5, 2014. Based on the acclaimed AKM Series, and designed to establish new standards in hygienic design, these IP69K rated synchronous servomotors are designed to satisfy EHEDG, NSF, BISSC and 3A machinery guidelines to reduce the risk of food recall and increase OEE in washdown environments. Kollmorgen will also unveil a hygienic electric linear actuator for use in depositor, and volumetric filling applications. The linear actuator provides improvements over pneumatic or hydraulic actuation, including better fill accuracy, lower noise, and reduced energy costs. In addition, Kollmorgen Automation Suite soft PLC controls, AKD digital drives, stepper motors, direct drive rotary and linear motors, and actuators will be featured.

“Visitors to booth S-2642 will be treated to a little fun while they get hands-on product knowledge, with demos that illustrate processing and packaging machine capabilities that can help protect their customers’ brands, and entertain at the same time,” says Bill Sutton, Market Development Manager. “Our interactive Servo Boxing Robots demo will showcase AKD PDMM programmable servo drives that deliver higher throughput and greater machine precision. OEMs and end users are invited to visit Kollmorgen in booth S-2642 to discuss application needs and learn more about how Kollmorgen can help them achieve desired results. Pack Expo visitors can also schedule a meeting with a Kollmorgen expert by sending an e-mail with the desired meeting day and time to [email protected].
