Fuji Electric Introduces HVAC Combination Variable Frequency Drives in North America

Fuji Electric Corp. of America has announced that they have begun manufacturing their FRENIC-HVAC Combination Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) in the company's new factory in Roanoke, VA.

Fuji Electric Corp. of America has announced that they have begun manufacturing their FRENIC-HVAC Combination Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) in the company's new factory in Roanoke, VA in order to reduce turnaround time and customize panels to suit customers' individual applications. The complete series includes 208V, 460V and 575V panels and provides ease of installation, start- up, and field troubleshooting.

"We're excited to complete final assembly on our new FRENIC-HVAC Combination VFDs right here in our Virginia Factory ," said David Schrader, General Manager for Fuji Electric Corp. of America. "These panels are suitable for a variety of applications, and local production means we are able to remain agile and modify the product as needed to meet the evolving needs of our customers."

The FRENIC-HVAC Combination VFDs include "As-Built" CAD Drawings and are ideal for applications ranging from Food Processing to Pump Control. Compatible with 22 or 30mm HMI devices, these UL-certified panels offer convenient cable entry options and come standard with Fuji Electric's industry-leading 3 year warranty.

Fuji Electric opened their new 37,000 square foot engineering and assembly facility in Roanoke, Virginia in 2015, with a focus on assembly of their Variable Speed Drive Custom Panels , Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS), and Auxiliary Power Systems (APS). The announcement is the latest move by the company to grow and expand their business activities in the U.S., as it will allow them to respond more quickly to local market conditions and reduce lead time on product shipments.
