The intelligent Quint UPS-IQ uninterruptible power supply is able to determine all of the relevant battery states, such as voltage or temperature, and provides an accurate read of battery utilization.
The intelligent battery management, via constant communication with the
battery and the power supply, continuously accounts for the remaining battery life and the actual charge of the connected battery. The intelligent
UPS also calculates the remaining buffer time that is also available.
Power supplies with output currents of 5, 10, 20 and 40 A are available
for 24 V applications. Options include combining with energy storage
devices utilizing VRLA technology with 1.3 to 38 Ah. Buffer times of 8
hours with a 5 A load current or 30 minutes with a 40 A load current are
also possible, the company adds. Phoenix Contactwww.phoenixcontact.com
