Emerson Process Management has expanded the scope of its recently introduced Quick Ship service to include delivery of Micro Motion Coriolis mass flow and density meters, sensors and transmitters to all world areas. Fast delivery of products and spare parts is critical to keeping any plant running at maximum efficiency.  Emerson’s Quick Ship program supplies critical products and spares on reduced lead times so that customers can minimize costly down time.

Quick Ship orders are expedited through the Emerson order process, ensuring they are routed to the manufacturing plant in order to meet the agreed delivery time.  Micro Motion products ordered under the Quick Ship service will receive expedited calibration and testing, ready for dispatch from the Emerson flow manufacturing facility either the next day or in 3 to 5 days of receipt of an order.  Alternatively, customers can arrange for collection from the factory if required.

When an order for products included in the program is placed with the local sales office, customers will be offered the Quick Ship option for any urgent requirements. To ensure that Quick Ship orders are fulfilled within the promised timescale, Emerson has made a significant investment in the resources and infrastructure at its manufacturing centers and has introduced streamlined procedures in-line with the latest lean manufacturing techniques.
