AutomationDirect has added the Flowline EchoPod and EchoSonic II lines of ultrasonic liquid level sensors and transmitters to their product offerings.

AutomationDirect has added the Flowline EchoPod and EchoSonic II lines of ultrasonic liquid level sensors and transmitters to their product offerings. Constructed with PVDF transducers and NEMA Type-6P polycarbonate enclosures, these innovative ultrasonic liquid level sensors replace float, conductance and pressure sensors that fail due to contact with dirty, sticky and scaling media in small, medium and large capacity tanks. Ideal for chemical, water and wastewater applications, these general purpose sensors are available with single and multi-function capabilities including continuous level measurement, switching and control.

The EchoPod DS14 liquid level sensor features continuous level detection up to 4.1 feet; a 48-inch, 9-conductor shielded cable provides connection to four programmable SPST output relays for switch, pump or valve control and fail-safety.

The EchoPod DX10 ultrasonic liquid level transmitter provides continuous level measurement up to 4.1 feet; a 48-inch, 6-conductor shielded cable provides selectable 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC, or 976-2,000 Hz frequency signal outputs.

The EchoPod DL10 ultrasonic liquid level transmitter provides continuous level measurement up to 4.1 feet; a 48-inch, 4-conductor shielded cable provides a 4-20 mA signal output for longer signal distances, up to 1,000 feet.

The EchoPod DL serried of multi-function liquid level sensors provides continuous level measurement of up to 4.1 feet, 9.8 feet, or 18 feet; the 48-inch 9-conductor shielded cable provides a 4-20 mA signal output and four programmable relays for level switch or level control functions.

The EchoSonic II LU series ultrasonic liquid level transmitters provide continuous level measurement up to 9.8 feet, 18 feet, 26.2 feet or 32 ft. These transmitters are fitted with a 10-foot 4-conductor shielded cable to provide a 4-20 mA signal output. DSP auto adaptive filters enable plug and play operation, optimizing signal output filtering and obstacle recognition. Depending on model, the short 4-inch or 8-inch dead band maximizes measurable filling capacity.

Flowline ultrasonic liquid level sensors and transmitters prices start at $260.

The full line of Flowline ultrasonic level sensors and transmitters is easily configurable via the WebCal PC software (available for free download at www.automationdirect.com) and the available USB fob adapter. While the software is available as a free download, the USB fob adapter is priced at $42.

A variety of accessories, such as mounting brackets, reducer bushings, bulkhead fitting, and flanges is available starting at $13; mounting gaskets are also available starting at $5.
