Eaton Shares Dangers of Counterfeiting, Asks Attendees to Identify Counterfeit

Eaton announced it is sharing the dangers posed by counterfeit electrical products in the electrical contracting industry at the 2013 National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Convention and Trade Show in Washington, D.C.

Eaton announced it is sharing the dangers posed by counterfeit electrical products in the electrical contracting industry at the 2013 National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Convention and Trade Show in Washington, D.C.

Held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from Oct. 12-15, 2013, the convention entitled A Different Kind of Power will provide attendees with the latest electrical contracting industry news and information with session topics ranging from the latest industry trends to cutting-edge business management tools.

An Eaton anti-counterfeiting expert will be on-hand at the convention to meet and discuss the dangers of counterfeit electrical products with attendees.

Attendees will have the opportunity to practice identifying counterfeit products with the “Spot the Counterfeit” contest. Visitors to Eaton’s booth #115 who correctly identify the counterfeit breaker between two seemingly identical ones will be entered to win a signed book from residential contractor, author and television personality Mike Holmes.
 
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with Eaton sales and technical experts to discuss solar, commercial and residential power needs for new construction and renovations. They will get a close up look at key products that increase safety, reliability and efficiency including:
