Aveva announced that it will host two Aveva World User Days for North American customers in 2013.

Aveva announced that it will host two Aveva World User Days for North American customers in 2013. The one-day event will be hosted in two separate locations:  Houston on 12 November and Calgary on 14 November. They will focus on the theme of ‘Solutions for Lean Construction.’ The events will chart the opportunities that software technology offers throughout the project lifecycle, including solutions for Integrated Engineering & Design, Fabrication, Construction Management and Information Management.

The AVEVA World North America User Days are organized for engineers and designers who operate AVEVA software, both in Engineering, Procurement and Construction companies (EPCs) and in Owner Operators (OO) in the plant industries. The focus of the technical day is to deliver product expertise that will increase technical knowledge and skills that can be applied in real-world environments.

“Lean Construction eliminates waste and maximizes efficiency for a more economical project,” said William Muldoon, Executive Vice President – North America, Aveva. “The User Days are designed to help our clients draw the maximum possible benefit from using Aveva products. We want to ensure that our EPCs’ and Owner Operators’ professionals are sufficiently trained and understand how Lean Construction methodologies can be achieved and applied to improve both project and asset performance.”

Each User Day will provide a detailed, technical program complete with three separate hands-on workshops covering Aveva’s Integrated Engineering & Design solutions: Aveva Everything3D, Aveva Engineering, Aveva Instrumentation and Aveva Electrical.
