Eaton Introduces Enhanced Digital Product Catalogue

March 25, 2015
Searchable online database provides information on more than 200,000 hydraulic products

Power management company Eaton today announced that the company’s industry-leading PowerSource website, eatonpowersource.com/pr, an end-to-end searchable product database that allows users to search, spec and sell hydraulics products, is now available to all users. Updated in real-time, the platform reflects Eaton’s complete hydraulic product offering, and provides information including product detail, part numbers, two-dimensional drawings, three-dimensional renderings, and how to purchase.

“Growing from an iPad app to a website for Eaton employees and channel partners, the public launch of the site a natural expansion of this real-time, interactive hydraulic platform,” said Eric Stager, marketing manager, Eaton. “The PowerSource website truly demonstrates Eaton’s dedication to enabling end users, OEMs and distributors across all channels to streamline the purchasing cycle through one seamless experience.”

The global platform – available in nine languages across 96 countries – is a robust digital catalog designed for the hydraulics industry. Since its initial launch as an iPad app in 2012, the platform has received the Forrester Groundswell, CIO 100, Mobilizer, Information Week 500 and Manufacturing Leadership 100 awards.

More than 20,000 Eaton employees and distributors currently use PowerSource, and Eaton expects that number to more than double.
