Leviton to Unveil INFORM™ Technology Platform At The Rockwell Automation Fair Trade Show

Nov. 16, 2018
New intelligent platform designed to improve plant productivity and safety by alerting end-users of potential problems

Leviton today announced that the company will unveil its new INFORM™ intelligent platform – a set of technologies integrated into Leviton electrical wiring devices to improve operational intelligence, efficiency, safety, and the integrity of an electrical distribution system –at the Rockwell Automation Fair trade show in Philadelphia on Nov. 14 and 15. The INFORM intelligent platform and demonstrations of the technology’s integration into Leviton’s wiring device offering will be introduced at the Leviton booth (#1825).

The INFORM platform allows users to improve safety, efficiency and reduce downtime while contributing to overall predictive maintenance plans. Products embedded with INFORM Technology monitor the quality and performance of the devices and provide real-time information and alerts of anomalies to the user. Information can be received locally at the device, via Leviton apps, or integrated with third-party systems.

“Our INFORM platform allows us to provide real value to our industrial end-user customers by alerting them of potential problems before they affect production,” said Michael Mattei, vice president & general manager, Leviton’s Commercial & Industrial business division. “We plan to integrate this technology into several other product categories to create a family of intelligent devices that can help end-users make decisions that will maximize their productivity and minimize their downtime.”

Select Leviton products integrated with INFORM technology will be available in 2019. For more information, visit www.leviton.com/inform.
