Tapeswitch Corporation is now offering a compact, lightweight safety laser scanner. The safety laser scanner offers a wide area detection zone at 190 degrees and is easily set to a maximum protection range of 2 meters and maximum warning range of 10 meters depending on the application. Status indicators, located on the front of the scanner, depict a seven segment display and currently selected area and error number in real time. Get the most out of your coverage area possibilities with mounting bracket options for both vertical and horizontal mounting. The scanner is compact with dimensions of only 3 13/16“H x 3 9/16” W x 3 15/16” L. The unit is IP65 rated for environmental conditions. The unit has low power consumption. The safety laser scanner provides a high level of safety meeting Category 3 SIL2 PLd Type 3 safety level performance, and offering TUV/SUD, CE, and cUL certification.
