At Vision 2014 (Stuttgart, Nov. 4-6, stand 1F21), Matrox Imaging will unveil Matrox RadienteV-CLHS, a new member of the Matrox Radient eV-Series of cost-effective, high-performance and dependable frame grabbers.
Matrox Radient eV-CLHS is one of the first frame grabbers in the industry to support the Camera Link HS (v1.0) M-Protocol through a CX4 copper connection. It provides a single C2 7M1 connection for data transfers up to 2.1GB/s at cable lengths up to 15 meters. The card is equipped with a PCIe 2.0 x8 host interface and up to 4GB SDRAM of on-board buffering. Matched with the inherent error detection/correction and low-latency resend capabilities of the CLHS protocol, Radient eV-CLHS ensures extremely reliable capture to host memory. It has been tested for full compatibility with new Teledyne DALSA CLHS cameras so that developers can quickly get CLHS-based projects deployed.
“Thanks to the consistent and intuitive API of our field-proven Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) software development kit, our customers will be able to easily port their applications based on existing camera standards such as Camera Link over to this newer, faster, higher bandwidth camera interface,” said Michael Chee, product manager, Matrox Imaging.
Matrox Radient eV-CLHS is available now and is fully supported by MIL release 10 on 64-bit Windows® 7/8 and Linux.
