Elmo Motion Control, a leading provider of advanced and cost-effective motion control solutions will launch two new, intelligent and durable servo drives at Automate 2015, McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, in Booth #440 on March 23-26, 2015.
Gold Clarinet - The Servo Drive For Any Motor
Elmo demonstrates continued innovation with its newest member to the Gold Line series of advanced field-proven servo drives and motion controllers. Gold Clarinet provides 9A/200V and 20A/100V for any 3-phase brushless, 2-phase stepper motors, single phase voice coil and DC. Extremely rugged and designed to deliver the highest density of power and intelligence, the Gold Clarinet provides up to 1.6 kW of continuous power or 3.2 kW of peak power in a compact package.
Gold Oboe – The Smallest Servo to Run 480VAC
Delivering 10A continuous power at up to 480VAC and a mere 72mm x 140mm x 110mm makes the Gold Oboe 10/480 the smallest servo drive to deliver >5kW from a 480VAC mains connection. The unique combination of high current loop dynamic range with a resolution ratio of 1/2000 enables high flexibility and dramatically boosts the performance of linear and torque motors in demanding high-end applications that require flexible current control for high and low speed operations.
Gold Twitter - 4000 Watts of High Quality Servo Power
Elmo’s flagship the NANO Gold Twitter will operate a 4000 watt motor at the exhibition. Weighing 18 grams and less than 13 cm3 in volume, the revolutionary Gold Twitter is the highest powered servo drive in the market.
Elmo will also exhibit the Gold Line of advanced field-proven servo drives and motion controllers. The off-the-shelf servo drives provide the highest density of power up to 65 kW, precise motion functions, and the ability to handle any feedback. The Gold Line has STO safety standard built-in approved to SIL 3 by TUV and UL approved certification for drives with operating voltages up to 800 VDC and 530 VAC. Easily set up and tuned using Elmo Application Studio II (EASII) software, these servo drives operate as a single or multi-axis control solution in a distributed configuration real-time network.
