The new offering of Industrial Thin Clients are ACP “ThinManager-Ready” with ACP-enabled BIOS ideal for industrial and hazardous areas and applications most commonly found in industrial factories, chemical processing plants and oil & gas facilities and refineries. Available in 7”, 10.1”, 12.1”, 15”, 17”, 18.5” and 21.5”; ACP ThinManager allows AIS Thin-Manager-Ready Thin Client Touch Screen Terminals to be configured in a central location instead of individually at each client.
AIS Industrial Thin Clients communicate with an AIS Touch Panel or Industrial PC (IPC) host and therefore do not require installation, licenses or additional software on the unit itself. Ethernet connectivity and cabling is used to connect units to the host from large distances affordably. Industrial Thin Client solutions from AIS require only one IP address. Local software installation or configuring is not required and the display and user interface are provided by the host. Therefore, the client also does not have to implement backup, restore, or update actions.
