Weidmuller introduces the newest addition to its extensive line of user configurable analog signal conditioners– the new ACT20P-PRO DCDC II. This universal input analog device offers secure isolation and precise conversion of current and voltage signals for applications ranging from machine panel control to process automation and fossil fuel energy technology.
Weidmuller’s ACT20P-PRO DCDC II is a flexible and universal solution. It provides users the ability to measure, isolate and convert signals from a maximum range of ±300 VDC or ±100 mA and any value in-between. The output is selectable for either Sink or Source signals making it suitable for use with any PLC or DCS analog input card. Flexible power inputs range from 24 VAC/DC to 230 VAC/DC. It also has the ability to run off the AC supply voltage to power DC input and output devices, making it particularly useful in remote applications where only single phase AC voltage is available.
Configuration is simple thanks to the ACT20P-PRO DCDC II’s unique, integrated front display. The module may be configured and settings adjusted via this front display, or through the additional DIP switches, all contained in a compact 12.5mm (0.5”) DIN-rail mounted housing. The individually configurable keyed plugs help protect against potential wire connection issues.
These new signal conditioners offer above-average measurement accuracy of 0.05% for precise data recording. The 3-port high galvanic isolation of 4kV (600V rated continuous voltage) between the input/output/power supply ensures that any noise generated on the input does not make it through to the output. Built in wire break (open loop) and short circuit detection aid in loop/line error testing.
Weidmuller supports customers and partners around the world with products, solutions and services in the industrial environment of power, signal and data. The company develops innovative, sustainable and useful solutions that set standards in Industrial Connectivity today and continually work toward providing solutions for the technology challenges of tomorrow.
