Moxa’s ioLogik E1242 is an Ethernet Remote I/O Supporting EtherNet/IP, Modbus, SNMP and RESTful API Protocols

The multiple-protocol ioLogik E1242 module is a powerful Ethernet remote I/O that is designed to support more devices anywhere in the world.
With the ioLogik E1242, you can build only one system for IT and IA engineers who want to collect all the data they need, from anywhere, automatically.
The ioLogik is designed for daisy chain applications that offer greater flexibility, easier setup and reduced wiring costs. This Ethernet remote module has two embedded Ethernet switch ports that allow information to flow to another local Ethernet device or connect to the next ioLogik in the daisy chain. The modules are also C1D2/ATEX-certified Industrial Grade, designed for harsh environments and wide temperature ranges.
The ioLogik E1242 comes equipped with four Digital Inputs, four Configurable DIOs (by jumper) and four Analog Inputs. The daisy chain function on the Ethernet remote I/O ioLogik E1242 not only increases the connection between machines and panels but also lowers costs of buying separate Ethernet switches and reduces labor fees and cabling. For example, if a production facility contains 700 stations (20 points per station), the wiring cost reduction can reach 15% of the total implementation cost.
