The Model 394L FPI Mag flow meter provides bi-directional measurement—important for many municipal water applications—while also helping users with complex, problematic piping configurations.
With a compact design and easy hot tap installation, the Model 394L FPI Mag flow meter comes standard with an L-Series converter that is calibrated to provide precise real-time indication of flow and the totalized flow volume in both forward and reverse directions. The Model 394L is packaged in a heavy-duty 316 stainless steel sensor body, while the sensor is coated with a NSF certified 3M fusion-bonded epoxy coating for longevity. The unit features a design that places multiple electrodes across the entire sensor body. This design compensates for variable flow profiles, including swirl, turbulence, and low-flow conditions by reporting the average flow rate over the full diameter of the pipe. The FPI Mag Flow Meter is available for line sizes from 4 to 138 inches and features accuracy of ±1% of reading ± 0.03 ft/s zero stability from 0.3 to 20 ft/s velocity range in both directions.
