Compact, Linear Position Sensors

March 6, 2011
The TX2 Series of rod-style linear position sensors are available from stock in eight stroke lengths from 25mm to 300mm.

The IP 67-rated sensors also feature compact size with mechanical lengths from 88mm to 374mm, measured on center of pivot heads, and a housing diameter of 18mm. The sensors feature backlash-free pivot heads that provide up to 12.5° of free movement. Repeatability of the TX2 Series is 0.01mm of full scale regardless of stroke length and resolution is better than 0.01 mm. Linearity is up to ±0.05%. Life is up to 50 million movements. Electrical connections are made by either plug connector or cable.
