The MicroSmart Pentra micro-PLC is now available with an optional RS485 communication module.
This makes the MicroSmart Pentra the only micro-PLC on the market that
allows controls systems to seamlessly communicate with up to seven
serial devices via RS232C or RS485, according to the vendor. With the
new RS485 communication module, MicroSmart Pentra can talk multiple
communication protocols on the same system, simplifying creation of a
subsystem network using the vendor’s Datalink protocol or the standard
Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol. For fast transmission speed, this unit also
