Monitor AS-i Safety Speeds

July 6, 2010
As the latest in the vendor’s line of AS-interface (AS-i) products, the AS-i speed monitor is designed to monitor safety speeds and stop conditions on up to two axes.
Manufactured by Bihl+Wiedemann, the speed monitor can be programmed using a configuration push-button or by using AS-i control tools. When the speed falls below the designated threshold, the device sends a signal to AS-i. The monitor also employs an integrated chip card to record all programmed parameters and does not require reprogramming to regain access to the machine after a controlled stop.Turck Inc.www.turck.com763.553.7300
