The Security Policy Validation Service tests the compliance of installed process control systems with existing security policies, to ensure compliance with government and corporate objectives for cyber security.
The vendor’s service engineers with knowledge of the vendor’s control
systems and all aspects of control system security provide compliance
auditing, compliance testing and remediation. Validation engineers audit
and test policies using a representational off-line system, based on
the installed system architecture. Specialized tools and reports are
used to identify configuration settings that are non-compliant with
policy standards. Recommendations and remedial activities are provided
to bring the system into compliance. Some software upgrades and major
system changes may require additional proposals, based on the scope of
work and software required to bring the system into compliance. The
service is available for Symphony Harmony/INFI90 and Extended Automation
System 800xA, including Connect products: PLC Connect, Harmony Connect,
MOD 300 Connect, and System Six Connect. Optional on-going compliance
support services are available to manage intentional or unintentional
changes that may affect compliance, ie: replacement of PCs, reloads,
upgrades, new threats and other causes.ABBwww.abb.com800.HELP.365
