Access Port Simplifies Connections

July 3, 2009
The modular jack, RJ connector Through Panel Remote Access Interface Connector is designed to provide a convenient means for passing an RJ connector-equipped cable to the inside of a panel or piece of equipment without the need for shutting down or opening the door of the equipment.
The port is available in both the RJ11 and RJ45 styles of modular jack connectors. The RJ remote access port is part of a family of products that have connectors and power outlets on the outside of the cabinet or panel. These ports simplify network, data and control signal connections to the inside, and provide a means of connecting test equipment external to equipment cabinets and panels. Through Panel Remote Access Interface connectors come with a hinged dust cover that when closed and latched, provides a water-tight seal and an IP67 rating. Connections on the inside of the cabinet or panel can be another like connector or a screw clamp terminal block that requires no tools or special wire preparation.Automation Systems Interconnect Inc.www.asi-ez.com877.650.5160
