The second generation of compact STEP power supplies are designed for small load applications in which size is a premium.
They feature expanded voltage and current ranges, and a voltage versus
current characteristic output. Upon heavy load demands, the power
supplies provide constant current output, a feature said to be ideal
for starting lamp or capacitive loads. Some models also have adjustable
output voltages, allowing for lead length compensation. Thanks to its
DIN rail clip, STEP can be mounted either on a rail or in a panel.
