RTD Interface for SCADA Products

Oct. 1, 2008
A resistance temperature detector (RTD) interface module has been added to the T-Box line of SCADA system products, boosting its efficacy in energy management, infrastructure management, power generation and other processes requiring multiple temperature measurements.
The module accommodates a broad range of two-wire and three-wire RTD temperature sensors. In addition to process control, T-Box performs alarm management and data logging and uses push technology to keep multiple recipients informed of the status of assets. Push messaging includes IP forwarding, e-mail with attached files, and SMS text. Via an integral Web server, T-Box serves live and historical information on the Internet or an intranet.
