As the latest models in the vendor’s Optolinx line of industrial media converters, the IMC-1000A is a Gigabit Industrial Media Converter designed to meet growing industrial network bandwidth requirements while providing a strong price-performance ratio.
Unlike competitive products that use plastic housings, the IMC-1000A features a metal housing with an IP 30 rating. IMC-1000A features include: 10/100/1000TX auto negotiation on the copper port; standard temperature rating of -10°C to 70°C; wide temperature option of -40°C to 75°C; 12VDC to 48VDC redundant power input; contact closure for local alarm; and options for multi-mode and single mode fiber through a standard SFP port.
