Rugged Industrial Ethernet Switches

Aug. 14, 2007
A new line of IP67-rated Industrial Ethernet switches is designed to excel in extreme environmental conditions.
The robust housing has a flammability rating of UL94 V0 with industry standard M12 sealed connection ports. These switches are designed to enable engineers to deploy Ethernet-based control systems directly onto a machine, process or factory floor for operation in harsh production environments. The line includes both an unmanaged version and a full-featured managed version. The managed version supports VLAN, QoS, port trunking, port mirroring, SNMP and DHCP. It is auto crossing/auto negotiating, and performs self healing connections via the vendor’s RapidRing technology. The switches feature eight
10/100Ethernet ports along with dual power contacts and a serial interface port for set-up and diagnostics.
