The ET-5MS is a five-port Ethernet managed switch that is billed by the vendor as the first of its kind that is truly industrial and fully managed.
The switch has full industrial ratings, including a wide operating temperature range, Zone 2 hazardous locations, marine and offshore and more. The ET-5MS is said to be a smaller, more cost-effective solution than competitive solutions for applications that require five ports or less. Like the vendor’s other managed switches, the ET-5MS combines real-time network management functions with open source capabilities, and offers secure and optimized performance with RSTP for fast redundant rings.
