STAC6-Si High Performance Stepper Drives are programmable for stand-alone operation with easy-to-use Si Programmer Windows-based software with integrated tuning.
A graphical point-and-click format combines motion, I/O and operator interface functionality for simple machine sequencing. STAC6-Si drives feature current output from 0.5A to 6A with 90-135VAC input, 50/60Hz, and provide software selectable resolutions from 200 to 51,200 steps/rev at speeds up to 133 rps. Self-Test and Auto Setup features measure and configure motor parameters automatically, while anti-resonance technology eliminates midrange instability for higher motor speeds and fuller use of available torque. Demand Signal Smoothing reduces extraneous system resonances for smoother motor performance and reduced wear on mechanical components.
George Reed, with the help of Factory Technologies, was looking to further automate the processes at its quarries and make Ignition an organization-wide standard.
Goodnight Midstream chose Ignition because it could fulfill several requirements: data mining and business intelligence work on the system backend; powerful Linux-based edge deployments...
