Compact 2D Camera/Decoder

March 1, 2006
As the vendor’s smallest 2D reader, the AccuVision MiniCam CMOS camera and decoder has a footprint that easily fits on a production line, but yet is powerful enough to handle sorting or other material handling applications, says the vendor.

The MiniCam provides a wide field of view, integrated LED illumination and flexible connectivity to host systems. Paired with the AccuVision Decoder for Mid-Range Cameras, MiniCam provides real-time decoding of all industry standard 1-dimensional bar codes and 2-dimensional symbologies. Plug-and-play functionality allows for fast and easy installation and setup in less than 10 minutes. Multiple interfaces—Ethernet TCP/IP and RS232/422 serial ports—allow MiniCam to interface easily with host systems. The AccuVision Decoder ships with the vendors advanced control and diagnostic software, Axcess For AccuVision Cameras, a Web-based application that allows Web browser-based set up and configuration of the Decoder.
