High-pressure Coriolis Meter

Feb. 1, 2006
Added high-pressure capability is added to the vendor’s Micro Motion F-Series compact Coriolis meter line with a meter rated to 5,000 psi (345 bar).

The new meter is designed to offer flow and density measurements in demanding, high-pressure environments at flow rates up to 300 ob/min (8160 kg/h). The Micro Motion F-Series Coriolis sensor provides excellent measurement accuracy for mass flow, density and volume flow, says the vendor. When combined with Micro Motion MVD technology, F-Series meters deliver mass flow accuracy up to +/-0.1% and volume flow accuracy up to +/-0.15% when measuring liquids. On liquid density, the meters are accurate up to +/-0.001g/cc. The meters contain no moving parts to wear out and have no need for periodic recalibration.
