“By offering this combination, we are able to fulfill both device level control and enterprise level communication in one package.” The 758 Series offers a 266MHz multi-tasking, battery backed CPU, with a built-in Web server and 32MB RAM/32MB flash memory. The 758 Series is designed to combine the ruggedness and reliability of a PLC with the added functionality of PC-based features. The I/O-PRO CAA programming tool is an IEC 61131-3 programming environment that offers built-in visualization, OPC server and fieldbus configuration. List prices for the 758 Series with Profibus master and the for the programming tool are $1,700 and $750 respectively.
