Intelligent Cameras

March 1, 2005
The Impact T25 and Impact T21 are the latest additions to the vendor’s T-series family of intelligent cameras for high-speed automated inspection.

With 1024-by-768 resolution, the Impact T25 is designed to provide manufacturers with greater accuracy and better defect detection than that typical of standard resolution vision systems. Equipped with a self-contained image processor and I/O, the T25 relies on a high-speed CCD imaging sensor, and can capture and process images at rates of up to 5,000 parts per minute. The Impact T21 is a remote micro-head-based camera, designed to fit into small machines or tight spaces. Both cameras are fully supported by the vendor’s Inspection Builder software, which contains all the features of a full-scale vision system, deployed in an economical smart camera format.
