OEE Downtime Module

March 24, 2011
The Ignition OEE Downtime Module allows manufacturers to identify problem spots in a production line, facility or entire enterprise.

The new module from Inductive Automation takes Peter Drucker's dictum of "You can't measure what you can't measure" a step further. The next step is "what to measure" to become more efficient and this new module offers downtime tracking data. In combination, the OEE software and downtime module provides OEE calculations, production scheduling, work order management and downtime tracking in one package. The downtime module can also be used as a stand-alone system.

Other features include the company's unlimited licensing model (which includes modules, too), providing unlimited lines, cells and data usage. The web-based OEE software also offers pre-built screens and standardized efficiency calculations to reduce development time. The Ignition modules are cross-platform and can connect with industry standard SQL databases.
