Robotic Software

Oct. 6, 2010
The new TwinCAT Kinematic Transformation software extends its standard machine sequencing and motion control capability to Delta and SCARA-type robot mechanisms with the Kinematic Transformation option.
The software eliminates the need for a dedicated robotic controller, associated software and handshaking routines in applications that require a robot to handle part loading/unloading tasks. Robot movements can be tightly coordinated with non-robotic motion, such as conveyors and other moving mechanisms. The execution of this software reduces engineering time in areas of configuration, parameterization and diagnostics. Beckhoff Automation www.beckhoff.com/TwinCAT
