Version 2.7 of Aerotech’s Automation 1 motion control platform introduces extra support for drives and laser scan heads. Allowing laser scan head users to achieve higher peak speeds, version 2.7 features enhanced scanner control, along with 3D data visualization, new HMI customization tools and improved development tools. Also available are an HMI builder for custom HMI modules, Autmation1 Studio’s new program variables tab and global string variable support, custom belt-driven stages, cutter offset compensation support, INI file support, user defined task errors and warnings, CNC features and support for Modbus TCP/IP.
