The ABB Baldor-Reliance SP4 motor line is a new cast-iron, enclosed-fan-cooled severe duty motor designed for applications in hazardous environments with an IP55 rating, as well as certifications for Division 2 and Class I Groups A, B, C, D and Class II Groups F and G. The motors cover a power range of 25 to 300 hp, and the rolled steel models are available in ¼ to 20 hp. As a standalone DOL unit, SP4 achieves IE4 efficiency, increasing motor efficiency by up to 20%. Available in 2, 4 or 6-pole configurations, all SP4 models come with a standard 48-month warranty and are designed to replace existing NEMA motors.
