The Fieldbus Foundation marks its 10th anniversary at its 2004 General Assembly in New Orleans, Feb. 18-19, and predicts the largest gathering to date of Foundation Fieldbus (FF) experts from around the world.
Separately, the Foundation announces the launch of its new “Fieldbus Forums” for members to exchange ideas and tech tips in a Web-based environment.
The 2004 General Assembly offers information to automation suppliers, users and integrators interested in the latest FF technology developments. In conjunction with the Assembly, the Foundation will hold a worldwide end user meeting, open to the public, to present case studies of applications in a range of industries. A registration form is available on the Foundation’s Web site at www.fieldbus.org.
While on the Web site, visitors can check out the new Fieldbus Forums. There are two methods for accessing the online forums—limited access for the general public and an enhanced access for registered members. To become a member of the Fieldbus Forums, go to http://forums.fieldbus.org.
