SignalFire’s DIN Gateway V2 is a 900 MHz wireless gateway with an integrated I/O capability for easy network connectivity of wireless and wired sensors, integrated Ethernet and built-in automation.
Motion Failure Alarm Facilitates Commissioning and Configuration
The unit features two digital Inputs, two digital outputs, three analog inputs, and an optional gateway output module with eight analog and two digital outputs. The analog inputs are useable for any measurement or control device while the digital outputs are useable for annunciation or basic on/off applications. This edge computing type capability in the wireless gateway allows for discrete automation functionality. Designed for Class 1 Division 2 Groups C and D locations, it supports wireless configuration up to 240 remote nodes at 3+ mile typical range and interfaces via RS-232 Modbus RTU or Modbus-TCP (Ethernet). The gateway makes possible wireless configuration of remote nodes and HART devices via PACTware or Radar Master, and automatically configures as a star or mesh network. Other features include low power consumption, integrated high-gain 5 dB omnidirectional antenna and 500 mW radio operating in the 902-928 MHz license-free ISM band. The optional expansion output module provides an additional eight analog outputs and two digital outputs.
